These Terms of Service set out the agreement between us when you book or attend a consultation or webinar with me. Please read them carefully before booking. By confirming your booking, you agree to these terms.

About me

I am an Associate Registered Nutritionist, registered with the Association for Nutrition (AfN). I provide online nutrition consultations and educational webinars, with a particular focus on supporting people who are using GLP-1 medications (such as semaglutide) or other prescribed weight-loss treatments.

What I provide

• Consultations: personalised nutrition advice and support tailored to your individual needs, including where you are taking GLP-1 or other weight-loss medications prescribed by a healthcare professional.

• Webinars: general information and education about nutrition, behaviour change, and lifestyle strategies.

My role is to help you optimise your diet and lifestyle while on medication, as well as supporting healthy eating habits and helping you improve your relationship with food.

What I do not provide

• I am not a medical doctor, pharmacist, or prescriber.

• I do not prescribe, supply, or adjust any medication.

• I do not provide medical advice about whether you should start, stop, or change your medication.

• My services do not replace the advice, diagnosis, or treatment you receive from your GP or another healthcare professional.

• You must always consult your GP or prescriber with any questions about your medication, side effects, or overall health.

Booking and payment

• Bookings are made online at www.milanutrition.co.uk

• Pricing information for my consultation courses, and webinars is presented at www.milanutrition.co.uk, as well as at the point of purchase and may be updated from time to time.

• Once a service has been purchased, including those that contain multiple sessions, the full service price is incurred.

Cancellations and rescheduling

• If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.

• If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, or do not attend, the session will still be charged in full.

• If I need to cancel or reschedule, I will give you as much notice as possible and offer an alternative date or a refund.

Ending service 

• From time to time, it may be necessary for me to end a service agreement. Where I do this, I will provide you with a prorated refund for any unused sessions. 

Confidentiality and data protection

• I will treat all information you share with me confidentially.

• I process personal data in line with my Privacy Notice, including information about your health.

• I am registered with the Association for Nutrition and bound by its Code of Ethics, which includes a professional duty of confidentiality.
  

Your responsibilities

• You must provide accurate and complete information about your health, lifestyle, and medication use.

• You are responsible for continuing to take your medication only as prescribed by your healthcare professional.

• You must tell your prescriber about any side effects or health concerns, and follow their advice at all times.

• You are responsible for deciding whether and how to act on the nutrition and lifestyle advice I provide.
  
  

Limitation of liability

• I will provide my services to the best of my ability and always with reasonable skill and care.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, I will not be legally responsible for:

• any effect your prescribed medication has on your health,

• any changes you make to your medication regime (which must always be agreed with your prescriber),

• your failure to follow agreed recommendations, or

• any indirect or consequential losses.

• Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  

Intellectual property

• All materials I provide (including webinar slides, handouts, and resources) are protected by copyright.

• You may use them for your own personal use, but you must not share, copy, or distribute them without my permission.
  

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

I may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If I make significant changes, I will let you know.
